AMAL Kündig, PhD Microbiology – Immunology

Amal obtained her PhD in Microbiology-Immunology from Laval University, Canada, where
she acquired broad research experience in the field of infectious deceases and drug resistance mechanisms.

•  Amal has over ten years of international academic and biotech research experience in drug development (infectiology, neurobiology) and in clinical research.
• During the last years, Amal has worked in the clinical research field in both academic and hospital settings (University Hospital Lausanne CHUV, Switzerland), mainly in oncology and neuro-biology indications and as clinical research officer within a Swiss biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of treatments for urogenital cancers and dermatology applications.
•  Amal has proven ICH GCP knowledge with project development and management background and holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in clinical research from the University of Lausanne.
• Besides her clinical experience, Amal is active in quality management systems and acts as a Deputy Qualified Person.
